Winners of LOGIN Startup Fair’s Startup Battle Announced

Fatmap, a high-res 3D mapping platform for mountain sports, was selected as the winner of the Startup Battle at LOGIN Startup Fair 2016. Funderful came second, while the third place was split between Deekit and Bike ID.

FATMAP (Vilnius LT/London UK) is an interactive, high resolution 3D maps and mapping engine for mountain sports (skiing, hiking, biking, etc.) The app combines mapping, routing, the social aspect and the local knowledge. Recently closed a 1M GBP angel round from high profile angels and currently looking for talent. They went viral 120K users in just 15 weeks after the launch. They won 3K EUR in cash from TRINITI law firm as the main prize.

Funderful (Riga, LV) came second and won 2K EUR. It’s a set of fundraising tools for universities that turn donating into a habit. Founders claim Funderful is the only product that is designed as an end-to-end solution to engage small donors and to improve their user experience. Its customers have already raised 1,4M EUR in total in 8 campaigns, whereas Funderful’s revenue has grown by more than 400% over the past year. Profitable from day one. Team of 8 people. Customers include Oxford and London Business School. They have raised 50K EUR in pre-seed 1,5 years ago and now are looking for 400-600K EUR to develop the product faster and to boost the sales.

With both startups receiving an equal amount of points (229) from a 15-strong jury, the third place and 1K EUR was split between Deekit and BIKE-ID. Deekit (Tallinn, EE) is an unlimited cross-device collaborative whiteboard for individuals and remote teams for drawing, writing, editing, sharing ideas, brainstorming and product/business planning. They already have over 4500 monthly active users and their number grows by 20% a month. Freemium business model. Focus customers – development and design agencies. Deekit is looking for a seed round, around 600K EUR, plus users and partners. While Bike-ID (Tallinn, EE) is a full insurance cover for bicycles provider over a mobile app. It verifies if the bicycle exists at the moment of insuring, the identity of the owner and the condition of the bicycle with a smart sticker. Over 8k sign-ups, partnering with “If” and in negotiations with “Ergo” regarding the German market. User growth is at 8% per week, they have a 215K EUR pre-seed funding from German, Russian and Estonian angels and are looking for a 1M EUR seed round to launch the product in Germany.
