Startup Olympics, a unique event of its kind, is coming back to Vilnius on August 10! This year, the event will be taking place in Vilnius Tech Park, the region’s biggest hub for Tech startups. Startup Lithuania would like to invite startups as well as investors to take part in Startup Olympics Vilnius 2017 and to see who is the best when it comes to table football, beer pong, sumo, and many more!

Last year’s Startup Olympics has shown huge success. Despite tons of spilled drinks, missed ping pong balls, and intense competitions, Olympics have proven to be successful at forming new traits within the Lithuanian Startup community. We can assure you that this year’s Startup Olympics is going to be just as competitive and entertaining, while offering new kinds of competitions.

For those who have never heard of Startup Olympics, it is a full day sports event that pools together Lithuanian startup ecosystem to challenge themselves in a friendly competition, builds closer relationships and awards the best teams. Don’t miss a perfect opportunity to strengthen our community and showcase your company’s culture and teamwork. It will be held on Thursday, August 10, from 1 to 9 PM at Vilnius Tech Park (Antakalnio St. 17, Vilnius). 10 full startup teams are expected to compete in 9 different sports plus a few mixed teams. This year Startup Olympics once again will consist of 9 different games. Just as last year, each game will be organised in a single-elimination tournament or a knock-out system. The winners of each game will be awarded. Points of 3 leading teams from each game will be added to the final results, where one single startup will become the Champion of the Startup Olympics 2017!

These games will be played during the Olympics:

Beer pong 6 players per team.

Sumo 1 player per team.

Tug of War 5 player per team.

Dodge ball 4 players per team.

Darts 1 player per team.

“Tie a shoe” 7 players per team.

Foosball 2 players per team.

Flip the cup 7 players per team.

Badminton 2 players per team.
