The Budapest team of Singularity University is happy to announce the 5th CEE Global Impact Competition of SingularityU.

For the winner, the University will provide a sponsorship to attend the 10-week Global Solutions Program this Summer. The challenge is to improve 1 million lives in the region within 3 years, leveraging exponential technologies. Applications are welcome here, until 20 March.

Singularity University is a real think-tank of Silicon Valley, which organizes 10+ Global Impact Competitions around the word in countries such as: USA, Canada, Central America, Brazil, Russia, Spain, etc. Since 2012 the Central-European region is on this virtual SU global map with the annual CEE Global Impact Competition.

Singularity University was founded by Dr. Peter H. Diamandis and Dr. Ray Kurzweil. The concept of a new university that could leverage the power of exponential technologies to solve humanity’s grand challenges was proposed in September 2008. The following year the campus was established at NASA Research Park – in the heart of Silicon Valley – and the first SU Executive and Graduate Studies programs were launched.

The mission of the University is to assemble, educate and inspire a new generation of leaders who strive to understand and utilize exponentially advancing technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges.
