Recent Malware Research Cases at ESET Virus Lab in Vilnius

ESET invites you to meet Robert Lipovsky, Senior Malware Researcher who is working in ESET’s Security Research Laboratory. He will give an overview of the most noteworthy recent malware research cases and will share daily Lab’s challenges.

ESET Lithuania is proud to welcome Robert Lipovsky, Senior Malware Researcher from ESET’s Security Research Laboratory, and give an opportunity to meet him in special event. During this meeting you will hear about ESET virus lab daily tasks and challenges.

Robert will give an overview of the most noteworthy recent malware research cases. The research topics range from cyber-espionage attacks against high-value targets to mass-spreading cyber-crime against regular users, with a couple of interesting examples somewhere in-between.

He will also speak about the power grid compromise that became known as the first-of-its-kind confirmed cyber-warfare attack affecting civilians.

Finally, Robert will explain how ESET’s Security Research Lab operates and introduce our cooperation activities with Slovak and Czech universities.
