Practica Capital fund has invested an undisclosed amount into Interactio, a Lithuanian mobile simultaneous translation system, Verslo žinios daily reports

Interactio develops a solution for conferences that eliminates current simultaneous translation hardware and offers additional features. With Interactio, an interpreter is still interpreting from a booth, but a computer is connected to the sound system so attendees can listen to the translation in their phones or tablets via an app.

Interactio is already partnering TEDx conferences and was named among top 10 innovations at the IBTM World trade show.

According to Interactio’s CEO Henrikas Urbonas, a lot of quality content is lost in conferences because of a language barrier, and the translation hardware is expensive. For this reason, Interactio came up with a solution that has already proven itself of value.

Practica suggests Interactio perfectly fits its portfolio as an innovative company that has a great growth potential.
