Creative Business Cup gathers the creative industries throughout the year to look for new and original business ideas with strong market potential, create networks and engage in matchmaking internationally. Creative Business Cup turns the spotlight on new entrepreneurial talents in the creative industries in order to motivate, train and develop the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The global initiative for entrepreneurship and innovation

The purpose of Creative Business Cup is to strengthen the business skills of creative entrepreneurs. The aim is to increase all participating startups’ ability to successfully create a company based on their creative abilities.  Creative Business Cup is looking for new and revolutionary business ideas stemming from the creative industries. The business idea must have a strong market potential and at least one person from each team must have an education or background from the creative industries.

National Association of Creative and Cultural Industries is a National CBC Partner in Lithuania that runs a local contest. During this selection phase  the jury has to single out the best creative business idea in the country. The winner will be selected after a two-day boot camp, where all the finalists will be trained for the final pitch session.

The winner of this phase will represent Lithuania in one of the biggest CCI contests in the world, that will take place in Copenhagen this fall. More than 80 national winners from the countries all around the world will present their business ideas in the final event in, where they will compete for 66.000 EUR prize fund and try to attract investment.
