R&D training programme “How to Commercialise Your Technology?”

The Research Council of Lithuania

The Research Council of Lithuania invites applications for the R&D training programme “How to Commercialise Your Technology?”, designed for young and early-stage life sciences and biotechnology companies that have already started commercialising their research results or are ready to begin the process.

The training will be led by Ashley Kalinauskas (USA), founder and CEO of Torigen Pharmaceuticals. She successfully developed a research outcome from the University of Notre Dame into a product used in veterinary clinics across the United States and has raised more than USD 20 million in private investment.

During two practical sessions, participants will learn how to assess the commercial potential of their technology, understand customer and market needs, evaluate technological, clinical, regulatory and commercial risks, plan their market entry strategy, and prepare an investor pitch. By the end of the programme, each team will develop a 3–6-month action plan.

When?
📅 November 3 | 3:00–6:00 PM
📅 November 17 | 3:00–6:00 PM

The training sessions will take place online via Microsoft Teams. Each session will also be followed by a 30-minute individual consultation with a biotechnology expert.

10 companies will be selected to participate, with up to two representatives per company. Participation costs of up to EUR 350 per company will be compensated under the de minimis aid.
Applicants must submit a 3–10-slide pitch deck as part of the registration process. Please send your presentation to [email protected].
