Introducing Speakers at LOGIN Startup Fair
2016
Apr 05

Which brands get most attention from the press? What does the tech scene write about? Which articles get shared like crazy? What is the best day to get covered by the tech outlets? Martijn Scheijbeler, Marketing Director at The Next Web, a major global tech publisher, will give answers to these and many other questions on the LOGIN Startup Fair stage, powered by DNB Bank.

Let’s have a quick look at some of the speakers taking part at the LOGIN Startup Fair.

We will have Kaivan Nikjou, CEO at Challengers, on the stage, he will talk about the Future of Work: 5.0. Kaivan will cover the present and the imminent future of work in the fast paced society of today with humorous touch and engage the entire audience to think differently. The talk will explore how current employers can hire talent, keep them and motivate them to accelerate growth, and the different types of jobs, projects and styles of execution there is and will be.

Also, Daniel Hulme, founder and CEO at Satalia, will explain why artificial intelligence is hard. Daniel is the CEO of Satalia that provides AI inspired solutions to solve industries hardest problems. He’s the co-founder of the Advanced Skills Initiative that transitions scientists into industry as data-scientists. And so he has plenty of experience to discuss issues such as designing data-driven decision making, the rise of artificial intelligence, and the future of business intelligence.

Startups Are Dead, states Skinner Layne, founder and chairman at Exospere. He will talk about how entrepreneurs can thrive in the unicorn apocalypse. According to Skinner, The Creative Economy is already disrupting large corporations, and the Venture Capital model of startup investing relies on startups aspiring to become large corporations, or to be absorbed by them. As this entire food chain breaks down, entrepreneurs are going to soon find even themselves disrupted. The way to survive this massive change in the fundamental nature of the global economy starts with a fundamental understanding of yourself, the willingness to constantly reinvent yourself, the ability to build and maintain a vast global network, and deep Self Reliance.

We'll also have top local talent on the stage. For instance, Mindaugas Mozūras, head of engineering at Vinted, will discuss engineering for engineering's sake. Mindaugas believes code is not an asset and technology is not the solution to your company problems. And so engineering for engineering's sake is not the answer too!

Check out more speakers coming to the LOGIN Startup Fair. Don't forget the event is absolutely free to attend for general audience, so mark 5 and 6 of May red in your calendar.
