Nov 15

The technology, startup, policy and lifestyle festival Digital Freedom Festival, which will be held November 27th and 28th in Riga, has announced the official programme. Expanding the scope of the festival, which will take place on six stages, it will gather more that 100 conference speakers from all over the world to discuss the newest developments in technology and their effect on startups, corporations, policy and lifestyle.

Digital Freedom Festival Co-Founder Dagnija Lejiņa: “We’re happy that 1000 participants from 25 countries have already confirmed their participation in the festival, including more than 100 startup companies. During two days anyone can get the global experience pertaining to new technology. We’ll try to get ahead of the curve and discuss how technology can raise our business, country and, yes, our personal life to the next level of development and acceleration, which allows us all to gain from the technological revolution.”

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economics for the Republic of Latvia Arvils Ašeradens: “I’m pleased that such an extensive event dedicated to technology as the Digital Freedom Festival is being held in Latvia, because technology is the country’s, city’s and every individual’s tomorrow. The ability to develop technological skills, promote a startup-friendly business environment, and create synergy between startups and corporations will define Latvia’s competitiveness to a large extent in the future.
