Introduction:

At Biomatter Designs we are pioneering the technology for Generative Protein Design and actively seeking exceptional and passionate people to join our team. We’re currently looking for a Product Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate market opportunities for new protein-related product development.
• Continuously advance the product development approach. Identify ways to improve our protein design platform, our efficiency and the quality processes.
• Work with the R&D team to form product specifications.
• Identify risks to product development success and mitigate against them. Resolve issues when they occur. Support effective troubleshooting of technical and non-technical processes.

Minimum qualifications:

• Technically fluent in biological space, so whilst not expert in multitude of techniques, will be able to absorb key aspects, success criteria, risks and opportunities rapidly and effectively.
• Masters degree or higher in the Biological Sciences or similarly related field (biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, etc.)
• 3+ years of industrial experience in biotechnology or related fields.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of the industrial and therapeutic enzyme market.
• Experience in protein engineering related projects or ventures.
• Experience in communicating with clients and forming new partnerships.
