ATR is the core research of Keihanna Science City located in the middle Kyoto, Osaka and Nara in Japan. ATR drives innovation ecosystem from the perspective of a world-renowned research institute and organizes KGAP+, a distinguished startup acceleration program. In collaboration with international innovation organizations, KGAP+ carefully selects deep-tech startups from various sectors and supports their expansion into the Japanese market by facilitating local strategic partnerships. Over the past 10 batches, 155 companies from 17 countries have participated, achieving a 68% matchmaking success rate and a satisfaction rate of 4.3/5.
