BALTFAB is an Open User Facility that offers process development and small-scale prototyping services for startups in the field of life-science, medical technology, and material processing. Our expertise span from soft micro-and nano-lithography techniques for rapid fabrication of biomaterial structures to various approaches of precise laser microprocessing of any type of materials. The notable examples are biochips, biomedical materials, flexible electronics, terahertz components, and their device prototypes.

Northtown Vilnius – a public Vilnius City Municipality institution, developing modern infrastructure and providing specialized consulting services necessary for the establishment and growth of innovative business in the Lithuanian capital. Northtown Vilnius started its activities in 2002 as the Northtown Technology Park (NTP) - a public institution established on the initiative of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and Vilnius City Municipality. For more than 18 years, Northtown Vilnius has been contributing to the development of the Lithuanian innovation ecosystem for business by providing specialized innovation support, incubation and acceleration services, promoting business and science partnerships, implementing entrepreneurship education initiatives and innovation infrastructure development projects. Currently, the institution focuses on two strategic areas: the development of innovative R&D investment zones and individual innovation objects, and the provision of business incubation, acceleration and technology transfer services to businesses with innovative potential. Since 2018, Northtown Vilnius has become the operator of Vilnius City Innovation Industrial Park and is developing a unique innovative research and experimental development (R&D) investment territory in Vismaliukai, where Lithuanian and foreign companies are establishing and developing activities in high technology and smart specialization.
