Jan 29 - Feb 02

NAVA is delighted to invite New Nordic startups to join NAVA’s first New Nordic Food Innovation Delegation to Japan!
NAVA has put together a highly dynamic program spanning five days of matching, pitching and networking with industry leaders, investors, manufacturers and like-minded peers – from 28 January to 02 February

The delegation’s main destination is the world’s largest city, Tokyo, and with opportunity to explore one of Japan’s other regional ecosystems; either Kobe or Hokkaido. By joining the New Nordic delegation you can look forward to:

  • First-hand insights into the Japanese food innovation market.
  • On-site visit to food innovation processing & R&D facilities of major food companies.
  • Access to local food innovation experts and insights into approval processes.
  • Matchmaking, pitching and networking opportunities with other New Nordic food and agri innovators and high-level Japanese stakeholders, including potential clients & customers, partners, investors and industry peers.

This is NAVA’s 4th startup delegation to Japan, and hence we are building on the experiences and insights that we have made on our previous delegations.

WHAT DOES IT COST?
It’s free! Participating startups only need to cover their travel expenses, accommodation and per diems.

WHY JAPAN AND FOOD + AGRITECH?
With a population of 126 million and only about 11% of arable land, Japan heavily relies on food imports. Major Japanese companies are actively scouting for cutting-edge technologies and products that can consolidate their food ecosystem, and in this regard the New Nordic brand is seriously trending in Japan – New Nordic products are associated with safety, high quality and sustainability!
