Pärnu CoastHack 2026 – 48h Tech Hackathon in Estonia

This October, we’re inviting Lithuania’s startup and tech community to join us across the border in the coastal town of Pärnu, Estonia.
Pärnu CoastHack is a 48-hour international tech hackathon bringing together around 100 developers, designers, entrepreneurs, marketers, students and other builders from Estonia and beyond.
Over one inspiring weekend participants form multidisciplinary teams develop their ideas into working prototypes, and receive guidance from experienced mentors. Whether you already have an idea or simply want to join a great team, CoastHack is the place to meet ambitious people.
The event is open to everyone aged 16 and above. You don’t need to be a programmer or have previous hackathon experience – successful teams are built from different skills, perspectives and backgrounds.

Who can join?
CoastHack is for developers, designers, marketers, business minds, students, industry experts and creative problem-solvers. Participants must be 16 or older, and the entire hackathon will be held in English.
You don’t need to have a team or even an idea before you arrive—teams are formed at the beginning of the hackathon.
We welcome technology-driven ideas across AI & automation, software, cybersecurity, web & mobile, GreenTech, HealthTech, EdTech, FinTech, smart cities and beyond.

Make a weekend trip to Pärnu 🇪🇪
There’s another reason to cross the border: the same weekend, Pärnu hosts the ÖÖvalgel Light Festival, filling the city with light installations and performances. It’s a chance to step away from the laptops for a while and experience Pärnu after dark.
