From Experimentation to Scale: Mapping Innovation Ecosystems for Clean Tech and Deep Tech is a joint online policy event organised by the Horizon Europe projects FINEST SCALEUP and FINEX, in collaboration with 28Digital and HEC Paris.
Taking place on 16 July 2026 from 09:30 to 11:00 CEST, the event will bring together policymakers, innovation stakeholders, researchers, entrepreneurs and ecosystem actors to explore how Europe can better support clean tech and deep tech innovation by connecting experimentation, commercialisation and scaling across European innovation ecosystems.
FINEX will present insights into experimentation spaces, including testbeds, living labs and regulatory sandboxes, and their role in accelerating cleantech innovation. FINEST SCALEUP will focus on supporting startups and scaleups to attract investment, access international markets and successfully commercialise deep-tech innovations through stronger and more connected innovation ecosystems.
The discussion will highlight best practices, project findings and policy recommendations, while fostering dialogue on future actions to strengthen ecosystem connectivity and Europe’s competitiveness. Perspectives from the Baltic Sea Region, Cyprus and Bulgaria will also be featured.
