MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation – 5th edition
MCSC Hospital Leadership Innovation is an international competition for innovators in the healthcare sector. The organizer is the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, a leading pediatric hospital with a 75-year tradition. The competition is supported by the MCSC ecosystem, created by a network of medical institutions from across Poland.
The main prize of the competition is the opportunity to pilot the winning solution in hospitals co‑organizing the competition.
In the 5th edition of the competition, solutions are sought in two main areas:
1. Technology addressing contemporary medical challenges, including:
• Home and hybrid monitoring – remote tracking of health parameters outside medical facilities,
• Digital self-care – applications, platforms, and devices supporting daily health management,
• Advanced medical devices – solutions supporting prevention, diagnostics, and therapy,
• AI in preventive and chronic care – algorithms enabling early detection and risk stratification,
• Solutions dedicated to lifestyle-related (civilization) diseases.
2. Technology addressing organizational challenges of medical institutions, including:
• Automation of hospital administration and management,
• Analytics and decision support for management,
• Digital patient services and engagement.
Submitted projects will be assessed based on:
• technological innovation,
• real implementation potential,
• scalability of solutions,
• alignment with the needs and capabilities of healthcare institutions,
• potential for practical application and further development.
