The objective of the challenge is to progress toward a smarter, more resilient, and self-recovering electrical distribution network: one that seamlessly integrates distributed energy resources, anticipates failures, enables fast and effective responses, and operates on robust, secure, and digital communications infrastructures. Through BAT’s international innovation ecosystem, this challenge is positioned to attract cutting-edge solutions with real-world applicability and global scalability.
