EdTech is one of the world’s fastest-growing innovation sectors, expected to reach over €377 billion by 2030, with annual growth surpassing 16%. Recognizing this momentum, the Innovation Agency Lithuania is launching its third and final call for EdTech startups to apply for up to €62,046.60 in funding to develop innovative products or prototypes. Applications are open until June 2, 2025.
“EdTech is scaling fast globally, and we want Lithuanian startups to have the tools and backing to lead. This call gives access not just to funding, but to expert mentorship, investor connections, and international expansion opportunities,” says Karolina Urbonaitė, Head of Startup Lithuania at Innovation Agency Lithuania.
Selected startups will become part of the Edu Challenger Accelerator – a hands-on, fast-paced program built for early-stage teams working on impactful education solutions. Participants will benefit from personalized mentoring, business development workshops, investor matchmaking, and support to enter new markets.
And it works – in the first cycle, participating startups attracted tens of thousands of new users, increased revenue by over €250,000, expanded into seven countries, and launched dozens of new partnerships.
This is the final round of funding, and it’s open to micro and small businesses registered in Lithuania for less than five years and eligible for de minimis aid. Each applicant can submit one proposal. Funding per project is capped at €62,046.60 (including VAT), and the top seven teams will receive support.
The initiative is part of the European Union’s Next Generation EU recovery plan and is financed jointly with the state budget of Lithuania.
