Ferentis is a scientific spinoff company founded as a result of international collaboration of its partners-scientists, leaders in their respective fields of expertise, from Canada, India and Lithuania. Ferentis products, 3D in vitro cell culture and tissue models, are based on its proprietary core technology -physically and chemically tunable biosynthetic hydrogel. This hydrogel serves as a scaffold for variuos cell and tissue types, and can be used for a variety of lab tissue experiment applications, thereby reducing the use of animals in product testing and biological research.
