Face a challenge and make history: create prototype of the first digital collector coin, become famous and win cash!
The coin would mark a breakthrough in numismatics to make digital collector coins reality. The new coin would appear alongside other limited editions of physical collector coins for the Bank of Lithuania numismatic display, commemorating phenomena, prominent figures or important events, such as the centenary of the restoration of Lithuania’s statehood.
To develop and test the technology for a digital collector coin, the Bank of Lithuania is organizing a hackathon, which will be held in Vilnius on 1–3 June at Rise Vilnius (Gynėjų g. 14, Vilnius, Lithuania).
The best teams will have a possibility to take part in later project implementation stages.
